Well what do you want? You panned it almost to perfection and you are still not happy. I wouldn't know what speed he was doing but I can see Ducatti Edevale is involved. Look how sharp the shadow is while the rest of the background is motion blurred.

Composition - he could have been more to the right charging towards open space. He could be fuller in the frame - crop it. He could be doing a wheelie for you - ask him

All-in-all I believe this is an excellent picture. Better than the other? Difficult to say - I believe both are very good. The sharp shadow draws my attention here.

PitwallAntix: Dearest Louis, thank you so much for the comment. I am at a slight loss for words here. I had drawn such a negative stance on this shot, that perhaps your encouraging words have caught me off guard.

I dont think I can get Clinton Pienaar to wheelie, but will certainly bare it in mind for the next venture. As to your suggestion with cropping, will give it a bash with the posts I intend on adding from Phakisa.

Difficult to say if this is better, sadly that worries me, as these pics were taken over a year apart, with different camera's. Perhaps time is not all it takes to improve and if there is one thing I have learned - keep doing it, taking a break from the track has cost me on my ability somewhat.
